Karodi Nalike (Bear Dance)

Karoḍi Nalike or Bear Dance is performed during Suggi Month (A month in the Tulu calendar) more commonly in Bolther & Karla. But currently, the performance of this dance form drastically decreased and now it is very rare. Though this dance resembles the Tiger dance (Pili-Nalike), this dance is performed during Māyi month at night. Along with Bear’s disguise, other disguises are also performed in dance.
