Pruthvi Ambaar

Pruthvi Ambaar born on 17 August 1988, at Udupi. His real name is Nagaraj, it was changed to Pruthvi as a show name later. His father is Veerappa Ambaar and mother is Sujatha Ambaar.

He is an Indian actor who works in Tulu and Kannada films. He started his career as a radio jockey at Mangalore. He has directed and acted in many short movies in his initial days of career.

His debut as a film actor happened in the Tulu film ‘Barke’ in 2014. In 2016, he had a lead role in the Tulu film ‘Pilibail Yamunakka’. It was a hit for the Tulu film industry. In 2018 he acted in two Tulu movies named ‘Ammer polisa’ and ‘Pammanne the great’. After that he had acted in Tulu movies such as ‘Golmal’, ‘Aati donji dina’, ‘English’, ‘Kudkana madme’, ‘Enna’, ‘2 Ekre’ etc.

He has acted in many kannada movies, but none of them had gained him required recognition until critically acclaimed movie ‘Dia’ released in 2020. Pruthvi was praised well for his acting in this Kannada movie, he had received SIIMA award as a best male debut – Kannada for his role as Adi in this movie. He had acted in several Kannada movies after that. He was rarely seen in Tulu movies after the release of Dia.

Pruthvi Ambaar married to his girl friend Parul Shukla on November 3rd 2019, at Mangalore.
