Divita Rai is an Indian Model and beauty pageant titleholder. Harnaz Sandhu crowned her as Miss Universe India on 28 August 2022. At Miss Universe 2022, which took place on 14 January 2023, she represented India and was among the 16 finalists. Divita was born on 10 January 1998 in a Tulu-speaking Bunt family in Kudla(Mangalore). Her parents are Dilip Rai and Pravita Rai. She has a brother named Daivik Rai, who is an athlete.
Education
Divita completed her schooling at National Public School, Rajajinagar, Bangalore. She graduated from Sir J. J. College of Architecture as an architect.
Career
Divita Rai began her career as a model and has participated in various beauty pageants. She was a finalist in the Femina Miss India 2019 pageant. Additionally, she won awards in categories such as Fbb Miss Fashion Icon, Triumph Miss Body Beautiful, and Centro Miss Ramp Walk for the South region. Divita participated in Miss Diva 2021, where she became the 2nd runner-up and was chosen to represent India at Miss Universe 2022. She also competed in Miss Diva 2022, which took place on 30th October 2022, and was crowned ‘Miss Diva Universe 2022’ on 28 August 2022 by Harnaaz Sandhu. Finally, Divita represented India at the ‘Miss Universe 2022’ pageant which was held in the United States on 14 January 2023, and was placed in the top 16 semi-finalists.

Divita was honored with ‘Son of the Soil Awards Assam 2022′ for her endorsing socially relevant causes to empower and encourage children to get an education.
