Pili Nalike is one of the unique cultural dance forms of Tulunad. This is performed during the Mārnemi festival (Navratri) for nine days. The dance is dedicated to the Goddess Durga. The dancers in the team mainly wear the disguise of Tiger & few other dancers wears the disguise of bear and other animals. The dance is performed with the tune & beats of Tāsè, Dhol & Nasaswara (Shehanay).
While performing dance the dancers visits each house in villages and shops in town. Once the dancers wore the disguise they are not allowed to remove it till the Marnemi festival ends.
